WHO IS THIS GUY ANYWAY?
My journey began with curiosity in 1979. On a leap of faith, I left my law practice in Seattle, Washington to move to the "Indian Ashram" of Haidakhan Baba. Returning to the US in 1984, I studied theology and became an Ordained Minister, serving churches for 27 years.
I continue to study and explore spiritual practices and world views in Christian, Buddhist, Sufi, and secular traditions. My training in coaching is grounded in the co-active tradition.
I enfold various approaches such as embodied, somatic learning and practices, neuroscience, evolutionary and system views. I work with individuals as well as teams.
I hold a BA and JD degree from Gonzaga University; a Masters of Divinity from St Paul School of Theology; and Certificates in Life Coaching and Purpose Guiding ™.
In addition to working as a civil rights lawyer and United Methodist minster, I've been an Army Officer, Ashram manager, non-profit & environmental activist, community organizer, and seminar & retreat leader.
My coaching approach supports the whole person with a goal of wellbeing, learning, and growth. Listening to stories and exploring dreams, values, and world views through relationship and play is my passion.
